Claire's West Highland Way and Ben Nevis Fundraiser

A 16 mile hike around Gallanach, Oban and Ganavan. It was a pretty warm day with not much cloud cover. Oban was burgeoning with people out to enjoy the sunshine and warmth. There were some very quiet, hidden beach coves along the coast where people rarely venture. A very pleasant day with some interesting areas to visit.

Hiked Ben Ime in the Arrochar Alps today. Pretty difficult climb in the heat with no breeze. The scenery from the top is amazing but I'm pretty tired now!

After last night's hike, I managed to capture the Aurora Borealus from my garden. Absolutely fabulous!

9.2 mile walk this evening to climb Deochnay (The Doughnot). Not another person around and what little wind there was, was very warm. It is always windy up there but this was the first time I'd been there without being freezing - even in Summer!

A dull evening walk of just under 8 miles across the very old Stoneymollan coffin road that crosses Stoneymollan Muir from Balloch (Loch Lomond) to Helensburgh (the Clyde). An interestingpiece of local history that people often overlook.
