east to west exist to bring hope to young lives. Working in partnership with local schools and the NHS we support children, young people and their families through well-being and mental health issues, helping them to build the skills and resilience they need to not simply survive, but begin to thrive.
A £ a lb - Weight loss Fundraiser
Event dates: Saturday 1st January 2022 – Tuesday 10th January 2023
As of 31st December 2021, I've lost 80lbs in 12 months! I'm committed to reaching my target of 100lbs, so will be continuing (until I'm under 300lbs which will mean a total weight loss of 111lbs - or more than 1/4 of my entire weight!!)
As with lots of people, lockdown has been hard. Too much food, too little activity and far too many other contributing factors have combined to weight piling on. Over the course of 2021, I'll be striving to lose 100lbs (just over 7st), through a combination of dieting, exercise and a fair bit of prayer!! I'll be giving a monthly update each month to let you know how I'm getting on, but it'd be great if you could join me by sponsoring me a £ a lb!
To give me added motivation, the sponsorship will go to support the work of east to west (a brilliant charity which I happen to work for!), in bringing hope to young lives across Surrey and Windsor. So as I lose each lb, east to west will have additional £s to grow and develop it's work with those most in need in our local community.
