Description:
Wiltshire Music Centre opened in 1997 and we now welcome over 60,000 people to enjoy and take part in music-making from across the region. We now deliver over 150 events a year; from performances by world-class musicians to community choirs and schools concerts. The Centre provides a home for young musicians to rehearse every week and for young artists to perform on a professional stage and refine their craft. Our Creative Learning Programme now reaches 5,000 young people a year through 30 projects; from drumming workshops to piano masterclasses, live jazz in primary schools to our Zone Club for learning disabled young adults.
We have to raise around £250,000 a year to deliver all of our programmes and activities. By donating, you enable us to share music of the highest quality with the widest possible audience, through accessible ticket prices, outreach schemes and education projects for young people.
Did you know? The income we receive from tickets and events only covers half of what we need to run the Centre and all of our artistic and learning programmes. The Centre is a registered charity and our donors, Friends and partners help us to achieve amazing things.
