My story
I entered the ballot for the Great North Run because it’s my favourite half marathon, I’ve run this twice already. Newcastle is a great city.
Once I heard I got a place I instantly knew I wanted to raise money for a cricket charity. The Lords Taverners was an easy choice. My dad was a cricket fan and it was because of him I developed a love for the game, going onto work for Gloucestershire County Cricket Club in the early 90’s.
The Lords Taverners do such a great job and I’d really like to be involved as much as I can.
