2nd Beeston fundraising video
This page is raising money for 2nd Beeston Sea Scouts
My story
A significant sector for us to approach for fund raising will be local businesses.
A powerful and effective way for them understand what the group is about and why we need their help will be a video.
This video will feature the young members of the group and illustrate the activities they get to do.
The condition of the existing building will be an important part of the presentation to highlight our need to fundraise.
It will also showcase Barton Island and the water-based activities that are an important aspect of the group.
From our previous experience of videos of our public events (The Picnic in the Park and the Race Night), it is obvious that the videos can be a very potent way to get our message across.
These previous videos have been made for free, or heavily discounted. While we can get charity discounts from video producers, we will need to spend at least £1000 to get a professional quality video. Raising £1500 will allow us to include drone footage of the island and use professional voice-over to create a superb video.
It is also planned that a another version of this video will be produced to promote the group.
This video will be very effective in driving our future fundraising from local businesses and other funding bodies.
Please help us fund this starter for our major fund raising drive.
