Well done to all the swimmers, great charity!
Ambivet Open Water Swimmers are raising money for The Cinnamon Trust
Here at Ambivet we like a bit of a challenge (especially for a good cause) which is why four of our vets, Paul, Anna, Alison and Catherine plus their support crew, have entered the SwimRutland Open Water Swimming Challenge on 11th August 2019. At 7am they will be taking the plunge into chilly water to swim the width of one of Europe's largest man-made reservoirs, Rutland Water, and back again (4km in total or 160 lengths of a 25-metre swimming pool!).
We are fundraising for The Cinnamon Trust, a UK charity who provide vital support for the pets of elderly and terminally ill people, allowing them to enjoy the companionship their pet offers without worrying about the future. The Trust has created a network of voluntary dog walkers, can provide short-term foster care during periods of hospitalisation and will take on the lifetime care of a bereaved pet.
Please help us meet our fundraising target of £200 for this good cause - if you know of anyone who would benefit from the services above or can spare some time to become a voluntary dog walker or fosterer then please contact the charity on 01736 757900 or via their website cinnamon.org.uk/home/
Thank you for checking out our page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto The Cinnamon Trust.

We did it!!! We all made it out in one piece - despite the cool conditions and the challenging choppy waters (more akin to swimming in the sea at times!) Thank you so much to everyone for supporting us and our charitable cause - we smashed our fundraising target but couldn't have done it without your help. From the Ambivet Team
