Andrew's Windermere Marathon Challenge

Event date: 22nd May 2022

Kingdom Housing Association Ltd is raising money for Andys Man Club Limited

My story

The employees at the Kingdom Housing Association Ltd recently selected Andy's Man Club as the charity we will support with fundraising efforts over the next two years.

Andy's Man Club is about supporting good mental health and we work hard to promote that at Kingdom too so I've decided to utilise one of the key ways I maintain my own mental wellbeing to try to raise some money for the cause by seeking sponsorship to run the Windermere Marathon on 22nd May this year.

As much as I love running, I've never covered anywhere near the 26.2 mile distance of a marathon, I'm quickly approaching 50 years old and seem to have signed up to do "one of the UK's most challenging marathons" for my first one (I didn't read past the bit that said it was the UK's most scenic marathon!) so this is going to be a pretty tough challenge for me.

Kingdom has already agreed to contribute a very generous £200 and it would be great if you could add to that - even £2 would be brilliant and very gratefully received.
