Angel Needs Your Help

Cheadle Animal Welfare is raising money for Cheadle and District Animal Welfare Society

My story

It was cold and wet and Angel, a lovely black cat lay on the ground unable to move. She had been injured in an accident and her leg was extremely painful. A passerby saw that she was in distress, scooped her up and took her to the local veterinary hospital where it was found that she had a very badly damaged elbow on her front right leg. It was feared that her leg would have to be amputated, but thanks to the skill of Ben Walton, a specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon and Education Secretary of the British Veterinary Orthopaedic Association, together with trainee Orthopaedic Surgeon Tomas Barto, Angel’s leg was saved. The surgery was complex and challenging as it involved pinning and wiring bones in the joint back together, but Angel had one of the very best surgeons to help her. She couldn’t have been in better hands.
Thankfully the surgery went well, but it is a very expensive procedure so Cheadle Animal Welfare Society is asking for help. Could you spare even a small amount of money to help this small charity who are doing their very best to ensure that Angel is able to get back to a full, healthy and painfree life?
