Betty’s Wish

Mam spent a number of weeks at Y Bwthyn before sadly passing on the 22nd June.

The care she received was exemplary and Mam developed a wonderful relationship with the amazing staff who cared for her when she most needed it. This care extended to us as a family too and we will be forever grateful for their compassion.

You always here about these MacMillan angels, but it is not until you need them personally, that you realise just how special they are. The whole staff at the hospice are true angels.

The Friends of Y Bwthyn is a charity raising funds to provide all the ‘little extras’ for those using the centre. Mam received many of these. It was her final wish that any money received in lieu of memorial flowers, should be donated to Y Bwthyn.
