Blake Morgan Steps Up For Readistreet

Blake Morgan is raising money for Faith Christian Group (Reading) CIO
My story
At Blake Morgan, just like everywhere else, we are getting pretty tired of being in lockdown. BUT, we are very much looking forward to being together again when we can!
In anticipation of that, and to keep us motivated until then, the BM Reading office is putting on a Step Challenge throughout March. Teams will compete to complete the most steps in the month of March, and will submit their total steps at the end of each week so we can see who is in the lead.
All steps count, whether walking, running, skipping, hopping or hobbling... even if it's only 10 minutes a day, just keep getting out there!
There is an entrance fee of £5 per person to join the challenge, and from there we hope you will keep the donations rolling in to keep your favourite team on the run. All donations will of course go to our office charity, Faith.

The steps are completed, the scores are in, and the winning team is… the Paramalu Plodders! I know, what a shocker ;)

As you can see, together we've made it most of the way around Europe!

• Paul Hayward, with the highest individual score (587,506 steps, or 278 miles); and
• Patrick Corlett, who ran four half-marathons in March, all with a time of less than 1 hour 50 mins (i.e., phenomenally speedy!).

The scores are in for Week 2 of our Step Up for Readistreet Challenge and all of the teams have put in another fantastic performance, with most of them beating their scores from Week 1. The Paramalu Plodders are still plodding ahead, but the rest of us are definitely catching up!
