Cara Reay is raising money for Hypermobility Syndromes Association
My story
The Hypermobility Syndrome Association is only financed by donations and the contributions it receives from members and is staffed by volunteers. The HMSA aims to provide support and information to those affected by Hypermobility Syndrome and to promote knowledge and understanding within the medical community and the public at large.
Hypermobility Syndrome (HMS) is an inheritable connective tissue disorder. The symptoms include painful injuries that can occur more easily ranging from dislocations to fractures, disc prolapse, ligament sprains, muscle strains, pulled tendons, etc. Other symptoms can include extreme fatigue, long-term widespread chronic pain, heart palpitations, fainting and reduced mobility.
I want to help fund future projects that will hugely help and support all ages of sufferers with Hypermobility Syndrome. Unfortunately the condition often goes overlooked and undiagnosed for many years and specialist treatment in the UK is only available in a limited number of clinics in the UK. With your help this charity can change this situation.
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Hypermobility Syndromes Association.
