Sarah`s sponsored slim

Event dates: 30th August 2016 – 31st March 2017

Carat is raising money for Caring for the Animals Trust

My story

Caring For The Animals Trust supporter Sarah Bagshaw has decided to do a sponsored slim on behalf of CARAT. Sarah herself has set her target at losing 4 stone. I'm sure you will agree this is both very brave of Sarah but also a tough target she has set herself.
Would you or anyone you know be prepared to sponsor Sarah?
We are so proud of her for doing this.
Maybe you would like to sponsor her per pound lost? Or by half a stone or stone?. You decide. To sponsor Sarah, please email the amount you wish to donate per pound or per stone to titch.carat@gmail.com and we will keep your details and send you an email reminding you to donate when Sarah reaches her first stone lost.
We are very grateful for your donation to help Sarah to help the animals, no matter how small.
We will be providing weekly updates on our Facebook page so people can see her progress.
Below is Sarah`s story.

"Anyone who know me well knows I have had a lifelong battle with my weight. For as long as I can remember everyday I would wake up and would kid myself that today is the day I am going to change things, but I always find excuses and say "ill start tomorrow".... only tomorrow never comes... So here I am nearly 50 years of age having put on weight pretty much every year of my life... and I'm admitting I am a sugar addict!!! There,I've said it :) :) It is very rare for me to eat a meal and I just live on junk food and diet coke. I crave sugar from the minute I get up to the minute I go to bed...but things have to change.... At 13 stone 1lb I now find myself 4 stone overweight, fed up and extremely miserable....:( So last weekend Paul and Titch turned up at mine and cooked lots of good healthy food which was portioned up for the freezer. And newly laden with lots of healthy recipes im determined to use my cooker and errr...COOK :) They then gave me a kick up the backside and convinced me I could change. So, right now, I'm feeling incredibly determined and positive and motivated...... And so I thought maybe it would help me to stay on the straight and narrow by losing weight while raising funds for CARAT, Titch and Paul's charity, helping the dogs and cats of Greece; especially spay and neuter projects which are so important to prevent the birth of more and more unwanted puppies and kittens, most of which will die miserable deaths as babies or live short, brutal and hungry lives.
I started this last Saturday so i am now 5 days in, and to be honest I feel pretty rough. My motivation and determination is sky-high but the lack of sugar is giving me headaches, i fee weak and dizzy....but I'm told I will come through this and feel terrific! I will keep you posted. Please sponsor me, it doesn't matter how little....keeping me motivated while helping the animals of Greece.....
You can pledge to sponsor me per pound or per stone and you only have to pay up when I actually lose it! Thank you so much for sponsoring me and helping the unwanted animals of Greece.....
