Pen Trust are raising money for The Lord's Taverners
The Pen Trust are supporting the Lord's Taverners and fundraising towards a minibus for The Arbour Vale School, Slough.
Arbour Vale School is a Special School Academy educating 310 students between the ages of 2 and 19. Pupils at Arbour Vale have a wide spectrum of complex needs which embrace profound, severe and moderate learning difficulties that include autism spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and social, emotional and mental health. A number of children have physical disabilities coupled with other medical conditions. 55 children are wheelchair users. Having a minibus enhances pupil's lives, providing a rich and varied curriculum. This includes national and local sporting events, educational visits and trips, cultural outings and residential trips.
We will be taking part in a challenge in the Lake District, Deep to Peak, which involves swimming the length of the deepest lake in England - Wastwater (5km swim) and then scaling the highest mountain in England - Scafell Pike. All this in just one day! Please support us to support Arbour Vale School.
