My story

Sport is my passion and Cricket is my greatest passion. Whether that has been travelling up and down the country or playing for the local village side, it has always brought me great happiness. The Lord’s Taverners helps young people facing inequality get involved in sport, especially Cricket. The photo above was taken of my dad and I at my grandfather's memorial Cricket match. Where playing as Great Budworth Cricket Club we took on the England Cricket Association for the Deaf at Arley Cricket Club in Cheshire.

The Lord's Taveners gives the opportunity for young people with disabilities and from disadvantaged communities to develop the knowledge, skills, capabilities and confidence required to overcome the challenges of inequality.

- 84% of participants said that being part of the Lord’s Taverners Cricket programmes had made them feel more optimistic about the future.

- 93% of participants said that being part of the programmes made them feel more included

-88% of participants said that being part of a programme made them feel more independent.

Any donations big or small would be greatly appreciated and would ensure that the Lord's Taverners can continue their great work. Any support on the day will undoubtedly go a long way as I drag my feet through London, dreaming of a pint at the finish line!

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto The Lord's Taverners.
