Gokyo Lakes Trek for the Hypermobility Syndrome Association

Event date: 13th May 2010

Victoria Stone is raising money for Hypermobility Syndromes Association

My story

Dear All,

I am about to do a 14 day trek to Gokyo Lakes (Gokya Ri) in Nepal for the Hypermobility Syndrome Association (HMSA).

I am doing the trek to support the HMSA. Both myself and my brother suffer from Marfans syndrome and the HMSA provides support and information to those affected by the many types of hypermobility syndrome and aims to promote knowledge and understanding within the medical community and public at large. The main way hypermobility syndromes affects sufferers is with severe pain. Some of the many other areas affected are the heart, eyes
and often results in a poor response to anaesthetics.

If you would like any more information about the HMSA please either come and find me or go to their website:

hypermobility.org/

If you would like to sponsor me there is a copy of my sponsorship form with Yvonne.

I would be very grateful for any support you can give.

I will bring back pictures of me at the top when I get back to prove to you all that I really did make it.

Kind regards

Toria Stone
