My story

On 21st April 2024 I will be running the London Marathon for Lord's Taverners - a charity which offers inclusive and impactful cricket programmes.

For those who don't know Lord's Taverners, watch the clip below for an insight into the great work they do to positively impact the lives of young people.

But why have I chosen this charity and why now?

In Summer 2023, I was given the opportunity to volunteer at a Lord's Taverners awards evening for their Super 1's programme. Leaving the event feeling pretty inspired by the work that they do for young people with disabilities, and listening to the stories of the lives they have affected, I wanted to look into a way I could help to support. Super 1's is just one of 4 programmes offered by Lord's Taverners and their impact stretches far and wide, with over 10,000 young people attending one of the programmes last year.

Your support will help Lord's Taverners to deliver cricket in all 1500 SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability) Schools, to expand the Wicketz programme to where it is needed the most and to deliver Super 1's in every county in England and Wales by 2024.

If that's not enough to make you donate your hard earned money to this great cause, just imagine the pain I'll be in at the 25 mile mark...

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto The Lord's Taverners.
