For those that know me well, they'll know how close I am to my sister. Katie has been a teacher of children with profound and multiple learning disabilities for 6 years now and I have seen first hand how challenging life can be for some the children in her class. Having said this, they are some of brightest and happiest children and Katie would be the first to describe her job as rewarding.

As you can imagine, supporting these kids and supporting the people that donate their lives to ensuring they receive similar opportunities that mainstream schools can provide is expensive.

Lords Taverner's vision is to have a future where all young people, irrespective or background or ability have the everyday opportunity to enjoy sports and physical activities to the benefit of their self-esteem, health, well-being and education.

I would really appreciate any donations to my page and I know on a personal note how far this money will go. Without the support of charities like the Tav's, special educational needs children would not have anywhere near the same amount of opportunities to play games, have laughs and enjoy themselves.
