Karima Tough Mudders

Salaam All,
A group of Karima lads will be taking on the Tough Mudder challenge. Tough Mudder is an endurance event series in which participants attempt a variety of different obstacles. The obstacles often play on common human fears, such as fire, water, electricity and heights, as well as challenging participants stamina, grit, overall strength and teamwork. It's been an interesting few months of training. From our elder participants showing great enthusiasm and strategic planning, and our younger crew mashallah gently easing into the training. We have had snapped Achilles, back injuries to name just a few, but the team soldier on. So do support our fundraising for a local cause.

What are funds being raised for? A Community endowment (WAQF)

The setting of the endowment project will look at securing the long-term funding for the amazing work Karima do in our community and beyond insha Allah.

Despite operating for nearly two decades, we believe this is just the beginning, with many more much
needed educational and community projects currently being planned. In order for the Institute to continue to grow and become sustainable for the generations to come it is clear we need to establish endowments to support the work.
