kate Peacock is raising money for The Cinnamon Trust
My story
Me and my husband Matt are running 13.1 miles in the Great Manchester Half Marathon on Sunday 24th May. We are raising money for The Cinnamon Trust.
The Cinnamon Trust is the only charity in the UK that helps care for pets of the elderly and terminally ill who are unable to do so themselves. Services they offer include dog walking, collecting food for house bound owners, and fostering pets if the owner is taken into hospital.
When living at home is no longer an option The Cinnamon Trust helps move the owner and their pet into animal friendly nursing homes. If the pet is bereaved the charity takes on full-time and lifetime care of the animal.
The charity enables owners to keep their much loved and much needed pets for as long as possible.
