Lee Phipps-Bartley is raising money for Womb Transplant UK

My story

Raising money for Womb Transplant UK to support their fund raising efforts.

I have been quietly training over the last few weeks with a goal to being fit enough to ride in the Prudential Ride London - 100 miles on Sunday 31 July (less than 3 weeks now!). Having a young family has made it difficult to find the time to go out on the bike, but I wouldn't change the time spent with my wife and daughter for the anything else.

Which is why I have decided to support Womb Transplant UK and try to raise a bit of money and awareness for their cause. For many, including my brothers wife Laura who was born with MRKH, the prospect of carrying a child is a distant dream. With the research being carried out by Womb Transplant UK, one day ladies born without a womb may be able to have children themselves and the clinical trials soon to start may advance this dream further.

My sister-in-law has been raising money for the charity over the last few years, as the charity may, one day, offer her the chance to start a family.

Please spare some change for this great cause. One day Charlotte may have another cousin to play with 😀
