Lexie’s 30 / 30 challenge

Event dates: 23rd July 2022 – 21st August 2022

Lexie Evans is raising money for Lucy Faithfull Foundation

My story

Celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Lucy Faithfull Foundation who help protect children from sexual harm and exploitation by working with both victims, vulnerable individuals, potential and existing offenders.
I’ll be jogging a mile a day for 30 days to show my support for this remarkable charity. If I can't make the jog then I'll do either 30 sit ups or 30 squats instead.

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Lucy Faithfull Foundation.

My updates

The impact of pavement running is tough on my joints :( Every few days I'll be switching to low impact to avoid injury i.e. 30 squats or 30 stomach crunches.
With either option, I'll still be challenging myself every day.

Yesterday I changed it up and did a brisk mile walk pushing just shy of 30kg. Twin mum on the loose! 😛

Keeping going even though I'm seizing up a little!

Day 4 - haven't felt too well today so this mile will be a brisk walk instead of a jog :)

First and second days completed. The aches are testament to my low level of fitness! 😬
