Life In Colour

Young people have been superstars during the pandemic.  Many have coped as well as they could while still dealing with the multiple everyday pressures, but we all know it’s had a devastating impact. Getting creative is a great way to express how they felt during this time, highlighting the importance of our children and young people’s mental health.
It is with great pleasure to announce that we are organising a week long Art Exhibition starting 7th August titled, ‘Life in Colour’, aimed entirely at displaying artwork painted by children and young people depicting their feelings, emotions, or what/who made them happy and kept them going during this pandemic.
Hansford & Sons Gallery of Stony Stratford have kindly donated the use of their gallery and funds from the sale of these artworks will be donated to the Milton Keynes based charity, Young People’s Mental Health YiS, who play a lead role in supporting young people in Milton Keynes through counselling, 1:1 wellbeing coaching, education, outreach, and more.
