Lockdown LifeSavers

Lockdown is here again ... and it's hard for everyone.

For our self-funded charity, this particular lockdown will further add to the difficulties we're already experiencing in keeping our independent rescue boat afloat.

So we have a special question for our friends, supporters and everyone who likes what we do ... could you be a lockdown lifesaver for us? Our #LockdownLifesavers fundraiser is all about DOING during lockdown, in a way that will raise funds for us and help our charity afloat, so that our volunteers can carry on doing what they do best - saving lives at sea and protecting beach users from harm.

So this lockdown, if you'd like to keep your mind and body healthy by DOING something you can turn into a fundraising challenge from the comfort of your own home and raise funds for us at the same time, that would be amazing!

Or perhaps lockdown means there's something you're DOING WITHOUT, which could result in a bit of extra cash you'd like to put to good use with a donation? Donating the cost of the daily coffee from the local coffee shop you're having to do without? Or even by donating the cost of the daily / weekly / monthly commute you'd normally be doing?

And of course it's January, so maybe you were already trying something like DryJanuary? If that's the case, you might like to donate the cost of the odd beer or bottle of wine that you're doing without?

Whatever it is - we'd welcome your support as #LockdownLifesavers because, ultimately, the funds raised in this campaign will help towards our £10,000 a year running costs, which keep us afloat and help save lives.

Of course, by adhering to lockdown, everyone is already helping to save lives by staying indoors - our #LockdownLifesavers challenge perhaps opens up the opportunity to challenge yourself and help save lives in a whole other way too!
