Since the pandemic begun, Martin and I have not met up to play or train as England cricket teammates. Therefore, we have agreed to challenge one another on our fitness (running), and this October, we are taking part in the Royal London Parks half marathon and will be attempting to raise a minimum of £900 between us.
The Lord's Taverners does an incredible amount of life-changing work with disabled and disadvantaged young people across Britain through sport and recreation, such helping to break down barriers, build crucial life skills and empower young people to fulfil their potential. Both, Martin and I are very passionate about increasing awareness of disability sport, especially within cricket, and as a Programme Ambassador for the Super 1s, I have seen how much work goes into helping many of the people excel and it is a cause I would like to see continuing to grow from strength to strength.
Martin and I would be grateful for any donation you can give, as well as share this page with your friends, family and club/s on your social media.
If you would like to take part in any challenges to support the Lord’s Taverners, please email Heidi Coleman at firstname.lastname@example.org for more details and an informal discussion.
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto The Lord's Taverners.
