Lymphoma Lass 4 Sam's Diamonds

I'm fundraising for Sam's Diamonds.

Sam's Diamonds offers support and outings for women who have cancer in the Liverpool, St Helen's and Warrington area. It aims to help women with cancer to stay positive, keeping control of their lives, so they can enjoy each and every day.

This charity was started by Sam Lewis. Managing cancer treatment with a husband and three small children to care for was not enough for Sam. When she couldn't find the support she needed, she decided to set it up herself and help others through their cancer too!

Sam and I are both doing a Race for Life on 14 May 2017 - she'll be running but I'm walking 5km, which will be quite enough of a challenge given I was a wheelchair-user in January. I'm training for the walk to a playlist suggested by the Diamonds chatting on their private Facebook page, and Sam Lewis has offered me a piggyback, if I need it... Ha, ha, ha!

I haven't been able to get to many Sam's Diamonds events, because of geography and because I'm not driving yet, but the ones I have got to have been such a help.
