Our story
The National NHS Estates and Facilities Team have chosen Mind and Dementia UK as their Charities of the Year with the first event being the Virtual 'Tour De Nightingale' Challenge throughout February 2022.
There’s roughly 900 miles between the 7 Nightingale Hospitals (Sunderland – Harrogate – Manchester – Birmingham – Bristol – Exeter – London – then back to Sunderland). So let’s round it up and call it 1,000 miles!
We're not walking the actual route but the team will complete the distance by cycling, running, swimming, dog-walking, hiking, golfing or any other means. If it’s under their own steam, it counts!
