Event date: 4th October 2022

Natixis IM Charity Peloton are raising money for Inspire! Education Business Partnership and Providence Row

Our story

By this time in the year, we would usually have completed a grand 3-day road cycling challenge somewhere on the continent to help fundraise for our two charity partners in London - Inspire! and Providence Row - but in these strange times we have been unable to plan such a big event, so have instead come up with something more local and also very different to ensure that we can still do our bit for our charities this year!

So, on Tuesday 4th October, a group of Natixis IM London employees are cycling, offroad this time, from Hampton Court Palace down to Brighton's Palace Pier. The ride will be 102km long and, with only 22km of that being on roads, the rest will be on (hopefully dry) river / canal paths and bridleways.

There is also a a sting in the tail at the very end, as the route leads us up onto the South Downs way via Truleigh Hill, a 3km climb averaging a 6.7% gradient, but with the lower parts steepening to 20% in places...all of this on a chalk bridleway. Fortunately it is all downhill from there to Brighton seafront, so hopefully that sting will be long forgotten by the time we roll to a stop at Palace Pier!

We would like to kindly ask you to donate toward the challenge in order to help us to continue supporting the incredible work that both charities provide to both the youth community and the homeless community in East London.

Best regards
The Natixis IM Charity Peloton
