New Year Challenge: Let's love lockdown

This weekend saw the final challenge for the boys; they absolutely smashed the repeat of an walk they had previously struggled with last year; and they achieved over 31,000 steps in one day! Over the weekends during this lockdown the boys have racked up over 70 miles and during the weekdays over 65 miles in total over the 8 weeks, so far more that the 1 a day that we pledged! We'll keep the page open for a couple more days and we really do appreciate all your donations to help us raise funds for Crowmarsh Pre-school.

With each weekend that passes during this lock down, the boys are deciding to challenging themselves further. After the success of the 8 mile walk last weekend, they smashed an astonishing 10 miles yesterday! We are so impressed by their stamina and are so proud of their determination to keep challenging themselves and raise money. Thank you so much for your support. We have just one more week to go of walking everyday of this lock down and we really appreciate all of your donations.

Thank you so much for your generous support, it means so much to us. This week has been full of extremes, one day involving ice skating on one of our walks, another where we might have nearly frozen the youngest to a standstill and the another where the eldest proclaimed a world record for the muddiest walk ever! All extra fun knowing that we are fundraising for such a fantastic pre-school.

We are so proud of the boys this week as not only have they walked before school each day but last Sunday and today they challenged themselves further and walked 6.5 and 6 miles! Crowmarsh Pre-school is such a wonderful setting and the current COVID restrictions are having a considerable effect on finances not only due to the reduction in fundraising events but also due to the considerable increases in costs for extra expenses such as PPE which is not at all funded by the government. Thank you for your donations and your support. We have walked everyday this week as pledged and on weekdays it is always before home schooling starts. We've had some chilly and wet walks this week but its still given us a great start to the day knowing that we're trying to fund raise for such a great pre-school so we'll keep walking everyday through lockdown and we really appreciate your support.
