End of week 3 and again my distance target has been achieved. One week and 15.93 km (9.36 miles) to go before the end of this fundraising challenge.
Huge thanks to Damian for the generous donation which has helped me reach my fundraising target early. (Be nice to beat it though before I set out on my September challenge!)

End of week 2 and another 25.2 km (15.7 miles) ticked off. Two weeks to go and just 41.07 km (25.17 miles) left to hit the distance target. Now for my supporters to help hit the donation target!

The MapMyWalk app runs Monday to Sunday but I started out on 1st August so today is the end of my first 7 days. So far I am on target having completed 28.89 km (17.94 miles) and the dogs have done over half the distance with me. Now Leicester is out of localised lock down I hope Chico and I can introduce Scampy to some of the county's rural delights and rack up a few more miles on different dog walks!

I worked out how far the dogs and I walk average 'normal' day (they have little legs so I'm sure they take a lot more steps that I do! ) then I decided to set myself a target of doubling it as a minimum and walk 100km during August (more if I can although not all with the dogs) and back myself to do it by walking for charity.
I knew I'd get a head start as I'm leaflet dropping for a lost dog but in 2 days I've walked 10.57 km (11.5 km if I count the very late night dog walk on Friday to test out the app!).
