My story
I am raising money for Meningitis Research. I have chosen this charity because of my sister. When she was 10 months old, she was unfortunate to catch this life threatening infection. The infection made her extremely poorly as a result she was hospitalised to undergo treatment, which included a lumber puncture. Through the fantastic care at Warwick hospital she was soon back with us. However, it left her needing to learn to walk all over again and left her deaf in one ear for life. This is why I feel it is important for me to support this charity so that more research can be conducted to help save lives.
