Event date: 8th August 2020
Please sponsor my tandem skydive and help me raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK.
One man dies from prostate cancer in the UK every 45 minutes – that's more than 11,500 men every year. It is the most common cancer in men with more than 47,500 men diagnosed every year – that's 129 men every day.
It’s likely therefore that everyone has a relative or a friend that has been affected and is living with or has died from prostate cancer. I am no exception, in fact in my case it is me! Fortunately for me I was diagnosed early, and my treatment will hopefully ensure that I will be one of the 47,500 but not be one of the 11,500!
Many aren’t so lucky, and that’s why the charity needs funding support. Prostate Cancer UK have a bold ambition: to stop prostate cancer from being a killer, specifically by funding research in three key areas: better diagnosis, better treatments and better prevention and this is how they can make the biggest impact to men with, or at risk of, prostate cancer.
So please help me raise funds for Prostate Cancer UK by sponsoring my tandem Skydive on 8th August and help to stop Prostate Cancer from being a killer.
Thanks
Paul
