Phodu Nurses Cardiff Half Marathon.

We as nurses want to give our patients the best care and experience when they attend our unit. It is the most difficult time in patients and their families lives and we will do all we can to make the experience the best we possibly can. I all started when sister Suzann Hughes wanted to run a marathon for her 60th birthday, she thought it would be good training to do a half marathon first and wanted some company. Senior sister Jenny James had already done a couple of half marathons, so she joined in. The rest of us were talked into it!! Still not sure how it happened, some of us total novices to running! Well if your going to challenge yourself then why not do something a little bit mad!! So here we are. Any amount of sponsorship would help us to help our patients to the best of our ability.
