My story
You may remember from a couple of years ago how Motor Neurone Disease (MND) was impacting the loved ones of a few of our SOLA colleagues, now sadly this disease has taken these loved ones from us.
Tragically, despite MND awareness spreading through celebrity diagnosis, for example Rob Burrows and the amazing work of Sir Kevin Sinfield, MND still has no cure. MND cruelly leaves the victim unable to walk, talk and eat and with a short life expectancy post diagnosis (50% pass away in the first year). Therefore this charity desperately needs your support to fund facilities to improve quality of life for the victims and also to fund research projects so that a cure can be found!
