My story

Hi,
I am Marc Hewitson a Quaker from Letchworth meeting house in Hertfordshire and this year I have decided to run the London Marathon for Quaker Homeless Action which I also do volunteer work for. Q.H.A is a small Quaker charity, their main objective is to alleviate the poverty and distress of homeless people in the U.K. The charity is one of the good examples of Quakers 'hands on' practical help in Britain today, they also run the Quaker Homeless Action mobile library for marginalised people in the community. Finished in a time of 5hrs 12min 09 sec, hot and sticky day but worth all the effort, thanks to everone for the donations.
