Remembering David

I recently lost my Dad after a long battle with Dementia. This is a cruel disease, which not only impacts the person with the disease, but has a massive impact on the family to see the personally you love slowly disappear - especially the impact on my mum who loved and cared for my dad until the end.

So I've decided to take on a challenge of 850,000 steps over 3 months starting on 1st April through to 30th June to raise money for 'Dementia Forward' they are an amazing locally registered charity providing support and information to anybody affected by dementia.

This is a massive challenge for me as it's nearly 10k steps a day. I usually get to about 4k steps a day if I'm lucky. Not only will it help me raise money for a great cause, but will also benefit me physically (hoping to lose my lockdown weight gain). So, I would be really grateful for any donations however small or large. I will be giving regular updates too as to my progress. Thank you in advance x
