Roxanne White is raising money for AFRICA CHILDRENS DEVELOPMENT TRUST
My story
Me and Lee will be joining many other supporters to row 800,000 metres to raise money for the Africa Childrens Development Trust (ACDT).
The event will be held in St Thomas' Square in Newport on the Isle of Wight on the 3rd - 5th July (2 days before my 30th Birthday so I hope old age doesn't set in too quickly!!)
The ACDT ia a charity close to my heart as it was founded by my business partner and good friend Nikki Collinson, who will also be rowing her heart out alongside me!
800,000 represents the number of children under 5 years who die of malaria in sub sahara Africa.
All money raised will go direct to the ACDT's work in Uganda, to find out more follow the link to the charities website.
