My story

This summer I am wanting to run in the hopes to create awareness of Gastroparesis. A rare condition that attacks the digestive system. Which can go on to effecting other organs in the body, as well as vigorously disrupting your mental health. The condition has not only impacted me and my family?s lives, but millions of others. The disease can in time be a very debilitating one, that diminishes a person?s quality of life. Which is why it is so important to create awareness for an illness that has caused so much pain, yet is one that not many know about.

The run I intend to complete however won?t be like any other. I am going to leave the set distance up to you to choose. This will work by you contacting me directly (as there is no way to do it through donating) to tell me the distance you would like me to run (but nothing too crazy kids!). A couple of weeks before my time to run, I?ll then pick the distance that?ll prove to be most challenging. Remember don?t donate just to make a crazy comment for the length of the run. This is about wanting to provide hope for people that don?t see enough of it.

Thank you, and happy donating! 💪
