Running for Charity!

I am doing the Derby 10K on Sunday April the 10th! (I am hoping to run most of it) and following what happened with Chris I would like to raise some money for a charity at the same time. Chris died in August 2019 from a rare aggressive kidney cancer. We were never given a name for it, it remained ‘unspecified’; his treatment choices were abysmal and nobody was ever honest with us about his prognosis. So I’ve chosen The Ricky Casey Trust, a charity that is trying to raise awareness of and support people with the rarer kidney cancers that take many young people away from us but unfortunately do not attract big research budgets. If you can give a couple of quid that would be brilliant – if you want to wait to see if I actually complete the race that would be great too!
