Manchester Colour Run for Manchester Mind

We're doing two 5ks and a 10K this Summer to raise money for the wonderful charity Manchester Mind.

Local Minds provide all the frontline services but don't receive any central funding.

Manchester Mind provides support and advice for some of the most vulnerable people in Manchester. It is a life line for those affected by mental illness who are amongst the hardest hit by the recent welfare reforms and legal aid cuts.

Mental illness rarely exists in isolation. It often compounded by isolation and social difficulties. Manchester Mind recognises that and addresses mental illness alongside the social issues that can exacerbate it.

After nearly 18 months I continue to be consistently impressed and inspired by Manchester Mind.

And I really hate running.

And I'll make a personalised cupcake for everyone who donates.
