SFHT Emergency Appeal - Quiz Night

SFHT supports people with a learning disability to lead more independent lives.
We rely on a substantial amount of fundraising income from our regular events, corporate donations, community groups and individuals throughout the year. Already, the ongoing loss of these funds and the temporary closure of our Aspire Day Services is impacting us financially. To help replace this income, we are hosting a Virtual Quiz Night on Friday 15th May at 8pm, hosted by our wonderful volunteer Micky Chilman, giving you the opportunity to make a difference.

We are currently delivering far more hours than we are paid for whilst the service is in total lock down, which is an additional cost to the Trust of £1,800 per week. Our costs have also risen in terms of needing supplies of PPE and extra staffing hours due to the additional support in our homes but we are fortunate to have dedicated and flexible staff teams looking after our vulnerable clients and providing amazing support to people with learning disabilities.
