Skydiving for Music Therapy Works

Event date: 15th September 2020

My story

So in aide of returning to GSA to study actor-musicianship, I want to give back to the community which has helped me through so much. :)

Music Therapy Works (musictherapyworks.co.uk) is a charity which supports a wide array of people of all ages and conditions. A lot of their experience is with young children with special needs, learning disabilities and communication disorders, but they also extend their outreach to adults and adolescents with mental health conditions, dementia, addiction, eating disorders and more. Aside from this, they also offer prenatal music therapy, which promotes the health of babies even before they are born. Music certainly is a powerful thing!

Music has been an integral part of my life for a long time and I have been very lucky with the supportive community which I have around me, and I think that by helping Music Therapy Works with their mission, it will allow for more individuals to discover the power and benefits of song and expression through instruments and sound.

What better way than by jumping out of a plane, making sweet music (screaming) as I fall from 10,000 feet?

Thank you for you time! :)
