Steve & Ryan's Race down the River Adur

On Friday 27th August, Ryan and Steve will be racing down the River Adur in West Sussex from Upper Beeding to Shoreham using paddleboards and kayaks to raise money for the life-changing work of The Change Foundation.

Ryan works for The Change Foundation as the Disability Programmes Manager working with young adults with learning disabilities to help their personal and professional development using sport and mentoring. Ryan, himself had a mentor as a young person and he wants to use his experience to inspire and support other young people to achieve their potential.

Steve has been a great supporter of Ryan and his work, so wanted to see what the work was all about and give back through taking part in a fundraising challenge, as well as find out more around how he can get involved and support the charities great work.

The Change Foundation is an award-winning charity that uses sport to change the lives of marginalised young people. We deliver targeted long-term interventions for the most vulnerable young people through Coach Mentors with lived experience, providing regular sport, personalised mentoring and work-related opportunities.
