Sam I is raising money for RMP Central Benevolent Fund
In Oct 11, Sgt Sam Irwin, Sgt Paul Clark and Cpl Charlotte Allen, all 33 Sect SIB, as well as Sgt Stephen Stanley, currently serving at ATC (P), are running (or attempting to run!) one of the following Mens Health Survival of the Fittest Challenges: Cardiff - 2 Oct 11 or Nottingham - 8 Oct 11.
We are running the Mens Health Survival of the Fittest challenge in support of the Royal Militay Police Central Benevolent Fund which helps to increase Military Efficiency of the Corps of the Royal Military Police and relieves the hardship or distress of benificiaries.
The Mens Health Survival of the Fittest challenge is a high octane urban-based 10km course interspersed with 10 obstacle zones, including:
Army Assault Course: cargo nets, rope swings, monkey bars (especially for the RMP) and mud crawls.
Under Armour Elements Challenge: testing core strength whilst been exposed to man made forces such as wind, rain and heat.
Haybale Scramble: 3m high wall of hay!
and last but not least obliterating the skyline before dragging ourselves over the finish line is the Mighty Mens Health 8ft wall.
Finally if you want to donate to a good cause which helps past, present and future, members of the Royal Military Police or you just want to pay to see members of the SIB out of there suits and running for something other than a costa coffee then please donate whatever you can.
Thank you
