Martha (MJ) Hooper is raising money for The Change Foundation
My story
I am delighted to be participating in The Thames Challenge, a 40K river challenge across London. Starting in Deptford, we will kayak for 20K before switching to rowing boats at Hammersmith for the final 20K to Twickenham. The finish line is rather sensibly outside of a pub!
The Change Foundation is an award-winning UK charity that over the last 40 years has used sport to change the lives of marginalised young people. They deliver targeted long-term interventions through coach mentors with lived experience, providing regular sport, personalised mentoring, and wider tailored support.
