The Lilies - MCSU’s 2020 charity

On New Year's Eve 2015 my sister sadly lost her baby, Rufus James Dawson, and I lost a nephew. The Lilies helped my sister through this difficult time.

In memory of Rufus and to enable the Lilies to continue to help women who suffer the loss of a child, MCSU has chosen The Lilies as their 2020 charity.

The Lilies are a small local charity, founded in 2005. They offer a service to anyone in Eastleigh or the surrounding area.

They provide a safe space for women to talk who are facing an unplanned pregnancy, struggling after an abortion, with infertility, after a miscarriage or the loss of a baby (stillbirth or neonatal death). Offering counselling to men and women.

Their trained advisers aim to provide a listening ear, unbiased information, counselling and on-going support, enabling people to work through their difficulties and face the future with hope.

From October 2019 The Firgrove Centre under the Alder Trust, are the contact point for counselling services offered by the Lilies Centre in Eastleigh.
