Tom's Friends is raising money for England Amputee Football Association
Tom Jordan was captain of the England Amputee Football Team squad when he passed away in 2014 aged only 29.
Tom's friends are raising money for the England Amputee Football Association in memory of Tom by completing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on 11th August 2018.
The England Amputee Football Association (EAFA) is a registered charity who are wholly reliant on sponsors and fundraising. The charity's mission statement reads...
"EAFA will provide any person with an amputation, congenital deficiency, or other limb affecting disorder the opportunity to access Amputee Football at grassroots, club and national level."
After losing his leg to cancer, Tom thought his sporting days were over, only to find a new passion and focus in amputee football. He worked tirelessly to promote access to disability sport for others. It's in the same spirit that we want to support the EAFA through doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks this year.
