Mary Rose Gunn is raising money for Breast Cancer Now
I rashly promised to raise £500 before the end of the year for Breast Cancer Research back in March and guess what, I?ve let it until to now to do something about it...
>
> So in an effort to raise the money, I have got out my sewing machine and am hoping you or someone you know might like to donate to Breast Cancer Research in exchange for a child?s pinafore. I will provide all materials and labour (around 6hrs) in exchange for a donation of £50. However, if you like the cause and fancy donating more, I and my social life shall be eternally grateful! Please specify if it?s needed before Christmas as will do rest between Christmas and NY.

> Please see attached photos for samples I have already made for Cecily (sorry the photos aren?t great, she is certainly not going to make it as a child model). She loves the dresses as they are so comfortable with no tight waist. Unless specifically requested (like C) I shall make them the length of the purple one - the grey wool dress is far too long for most tastes but she thinks she looks like Maria from the Sound of Music!
>
> My access to fabric colours and accessories is limited to Peter Jones so colours available are red, royal blue, burgundy, dark purple or salmon pink (not a very nice shade!) needlecord. If you would like a different fabric or something with a pattern I can have a look and get the closest I can find. The bodice is fully lined and I shall put pockets on along with some sort of detailing - pretty buttons or a ribbon or something depending on what PJ?s has in stock. Needlecord is 100% cotton and washable. And of course if you want to send fabric that is no problem at all.
>
> Size-wise, height and chest measurements of child are all i need or else ?she?s two but quite tall? and I?ll err on the larger side.
Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto Breast Cancer Now.
