Willow came to us via paws 2 rescue in December last year after the sudden death of Lucky our border collie. Willow was found in Romania on a rubbish dump discarded and left to fend for herself. Whilst I understand that many believe you should offer a UK rescue a home first before taking in from abroad- no animal deserves to be abandoned - and we cannot change the world for every animal we can change the world for those we are able to help - that is why we are trying to raise funds to help build the sanctuary- so we can help more.
Willow has walked many miles this month - mum often forgot to log quite how many - but she says she is carrying on walking throughout May because even though her legs ache there are lots of pups and dogs in Romania that need her help to build the sanctuary
