Winter Walk to Witherley

"The Winter Walk to Witherley" is in aid of:

• Senior Staffy Club - who rescue and rehome Senior Staffies aged 7yrs plus and is where Max was adopted from, and;
• Big Man Brodie - Brodie was a dog with a very uncertain future until his 3 Aunties, Kate, Julia and Ronnie stepped in and promised to raise funds for him to help him find a safe place and keep him at the safe place he needed - he is now at Dun Roamin Rehoming Rescue and Santuary enjoying life again

The walk will see Max, Max’s Mom (Ronnie) and Dad (Lance) and two SSC Aunties, Julia and Kate, walk 8 miles between them from Max’s home in Wilnecote, Tamworth to Brodie’s home at Dun Roamin Sanctuary in Witherley, Warwickshire on Thursday 8th December 2022 (weather permitting... humans and Staffies can melt in the rain don’t you know!)

Max will escort the three ladies the last 2.5 miles to Witherley to see Big Man Brodie.

It won't be any old walk though as we will be pulling a special Christmas sled with presents for Brodie and his friends at the sanctuary (and there will be some sent for the Senior Staffy Club dogs as well!)

Max says :
Let me tell you though, I'm going to have my work cut out walking with that lot , ones recovering from a broken toe, and another one has poorly knees, so they better not try hitching a ride on the sled! .....I'm going to have to be strict with them!

There's also been talk of Christmas themed dressing up....otherwise known as #embarassingme!

So my friends would you mind if I asked you to sponsor me and the Four Musketeers, it may ease some of my embarrassment .

All the money I raise will be split between Senior Staffy Club and Dun Roamin Rehoming and Sanctuary for Big Man Brodie
