Our story

On April 13th, 2024, we, James  and Rudy, will be running the Paris Marathon. For both of us, this race is not just about pushing our physical limits, but about doing something meaningful. We’re running for Croner-i to raise funds and awareness for DEBRA, a charity that supports individuals living with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a rare and incredibly painful skin condition.

When we learned about the work DEBRA does to support those with EB, we knew we wanted to contribute in a way that goes beyond ourselves. Running a marathon is a huge challenge, but it pales in comparison to the daily struggles faced by those living with EB. The pain they endure from something as simple as a touch or a rub of the skin is unimaginable. DEBRA provides essential care, research, and support to improve the quality of life for EB sufferers and their families, and we’re honoured to be running for such an important cause.

We’ve been training hard, not just to cross the finish line, but to help DEBRA continue their life-changing work. Every donation, no matter how small, is appreciated and will bring us closer to a world where no one has to suffer from EB. Your support will motivate us through every mile, and more importantly, it will help make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
